In-Home Caregiver (Part Time | Weekend Shifts | Consistent Schedule)
Location: Ypsilanti, MI
Pay Rate: $17.13/hour
We’re hiring a compassionate and reliable In-Home Caregiver to support a kind, verbal disabled adult male client in his home. This is a part-time weekend position with split shifts, ideal for someone dependable and experienced in personal care and looking to make a little extra money.
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 7 AM – 10 AM, 6 PM – 9:30 PM (13 hours/week)
Responsibilities:
- Personal care (assistance with dressing, hygiene, bathing, etc.)
- Utilize a hoyer lift to transfer the client
- Light homemaking as it relates to the client's care (laundry, tidying, basic meal prep)
- Run errands and grocery shop as needed
- General in-home support and companionship
- Use your personal smartphone to document client care and time worked
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old
- Must have prior experience with a hoyer lift
- Must have your own car with auto insurance
- Able to pass a background check
- Reliable, patient, and comfortable with light physical support tasks
- Must be punctual, respectful, and able to maintain a calm, positive presence
- Prior caregiving or home health experience preferred
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions
