Salary Range: $45,000 – $65,000 (depending on experience)

Seeking a professional, personable, and highly motivated IT Support Technician to facilitate the effective daily operations of computer systems and networks across a dynamic, 24/7 business facility. Operating independently with guidance and routine supervision from the department manager, this role serves as a key support pillar ensuring the long-term continuity of the technical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Issue Resolution: Actively respond to internal staff requests to identify, prioritize, and resolve reported hardware, software, and application issues.
• System Monitoring: Recognize, research, isolate, resolve, and follow up on computer hardware, software system errors, and unexpected application failures.
• Network & Connectivity: Support, test, and troubleshoot local area network (LAN) hardware and software connectivity issues.
• Asset Tracking: Maintain an accurate hardware inventory and ongoing preventative maintenance schedule for all local workstations.
• Technical Reporting: Prepare and submit routine activity and equipment reports for leadership review.
• Infrastructure Support: Assist with hands-on facility infrastructure needs, including pulling data or telephone cables, executing five-color coding, and terminating communication jacks.
• Wiring Schematics: Understand and interpret simple and complex machine wiring schematics to resolve underlying hardware issues.
• Team Alignment: Maintain continual, professional contact with personnel across all departments of the organization.
• Confidentiality: Manage and maintain confidential and sensitive corporate information with absolute diplomacy, discretion, and tact.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or HSED is required.
• No professional IT experience required: Technical hobbyists, PC builders, and career changers with verified technical aptitude are highly encouraged to apply.
• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related discipline, or foundational certifications (such as CompTIA A , Network , MCP, or CCNA) are a plus but not mandatory.

• Schedule Flexibility: Full commitment to scheduling flexibility, including the ability to work irregular hours, regular weekends, holidays, and handle short-notice call-ins.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Physical Requirements: Ability to comfortably walk, sit, stand, bend, or lift technical equipment for extended periods of time throughout the shift.
• Environmental Factors: Comfort working within an active facility environment that may include temperature differentials or potential exposure to wet floors and open wiring.
