Role: System Test Technician II

Location: Secaucus, NJ

Pay rates: 1nd Shift: $19.55/hr, 2rd Shift: $21.25/hr, Weekend Shift: 17/hr

Shift times: 1nd Shift: 3-11pm, 2rd Shift: 11pm – 7am, Weekend Shift: 7am-7pm

Job Description

What You'll Do

• Configure and prepare enterprise servers and systems for manufacturing and validation testing.
• Monitor systems through remote access tools and direct console connections during test execution.
• Execute scripts, commands, firmware updates, and configuration verifications.
• Perform system diagnostics, failure analysis, and root cause investigations.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and configuration issues.
• Perform hardware repairs and component replacements following established procedures.
• Track system performance, test progress, and issues using dashboards and manufacturing tools.
• Escalate technical issues impacting production and collaborate with technicians, team leads, engineers, and supervisors.
• Support validation and testing of advanced server technologies, including liquid cooling infrastructure and next-generation AI computing platforms.
• Follow strict safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, Lean manufacturing activities, and 6S programs.
• Contribute ideas to improve product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Lift and move equipment weighing up to 30 pounds when required.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school certification.
• Strong interest in technology, computer hardware, IT infrastructure, or data center operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and follow detailed processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, pull, and lift throughout the workday.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems, Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• CompTIA A , Network , Server , or similar certifications.
• Experience with Windows operating systems, Linux environments, and networking fundamentals.
• Previous experience with computer hardware, server systems, or data center equipment.
• Familiarity with automation, scripting, diagnostics tools, or manufacturing processes.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
