Who You Are
You are a seasoned technology leader with proven experience managing technical teams, including offshore resources. You excel at setting and executing technology strategies, leading distributed teams across time zones, and building scalable systems that support rapid growth. You combine hands-on technical knowledge with strategic leadership, enabling you to guide engineering, product development, and infrastructure in alignment with business goals.
At the Manager level, you will lead client engagements, drive business development, ensure high-quality deliverables, and foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment—while embodying the firm’s brand and core values.
Role and Responsibilities
You may work on various projects throughout your career with Excelacom. The roles and responsibilities noted below pertain to the specific role listed above.
Set and drive the company’s technology roadmap to align with business priorities.
Lead engineering, product development, infrastructure, and security functions.
Build, mentor, and scale high-performing technical teams.
Introduce scalable processes, tools, and systems to enable sustainable growth.
Collaborate closely with the executive team to ensure technology delivers business value.
Manage offshore teams and coordinate across time zones, including working off hours as needed.
Drive adoption of emerging technologies such as AI, cloud, and data-driven platforms.
Lead by example, fostering an inclusive, innovative, and high-performance culture.
Required Qualifications
Prior consulting or technology leadership experience in Telecommunications, Media, or Cable industries.
10–15 years of progressive technology leadership experience.
Career foundation as a Java Developer with strong software engineering fundamentals.
Proven experience building and scaling software products or platforms.
Experience managing distributed teams, including offshore resources.
Strong expertise in cloud platforms, data, and modern technology practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React.js, Node.js, or Angular.js is a plus.
Prior exposure to AI technologies or AI-related projects/products is preferred.
