As a Junior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting technology-driven transformation initiatives for enterprise telecom and cable clients. You are someone who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution—working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into actionable insights, and support delivery teams in building effective solutions. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities, collaborating across cross-functional teams, and using structured tools and methodologies to keep work organized and moving forward.
In this role, you will contribute to client engagements by supporting project delivery, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and helping ensure that solutions align with business objectives. You are detail-oriented, analytically driven, and continuously building your foundation in business analysis, data, and technology.
At the Analyst level, you are expected to take ownership of assigned tasks, contribute to deliverables, develop business and technical acumen, and provide meaningful input into project outcomes. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, translating them into actionable tasks for technical teams
- Support multiple concurrent projects by coordinating activities, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment across workstreams
- Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams using collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms
- Assist in leading client interactions including meetings, workshops, and status updates, ensuring clear documentation of discussions, decisions, and action items
- Contribute to the preparation of deliverables including weekly, monthly, and quarterly status reports, presentations, and project documentation
- Analyze business processes, data flows, and system interactions to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Support testing activities by developing test cases, executing test plans, and tracking defects through resolution
- Communicate technical concepts and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Assist in the development of training materials, user guides, and operational documentation to support solution adoption
- Maintain strong organization across requirements, risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
- Demonstrate professionalism and responsiveness in all client interactions, including engagement with senior-level stakeholders
- Contribute to internal initiatives such as solution development, knowledge sharing, and proposal support as part of Excelacom’s Center of Excellence
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, MIS, Communications, or related field with a GPA of 3.7 or higher
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and senior business leaders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working in both virtual and in-person team environments

- Active participation in college organizations (e.g., fraternities, sororities, or student clubs), demonstrating leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Experience holding leadership roles in extracurricular activities, with responsibility for coordinating events, managing members, or driving initiatives
- Internship or professional experience in business analysis or consulting, particularly within telecom or related industries
- Exposure to enterprise systems (CRM, billing, provisioning, etc.)
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms
- Basic knowledge of SQL or experience working with datasets
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Strong interest in telecommunications, cable, or media sectors
