Excela Protect is seeking an experienced Manager of Technology and Growth Solutions to join our growing team onsite in Charleston, SC. Excela Protect is a fast-growing, technology-driven, dealer-centric administrator on a mission to modernize the F&I industry through transparency, efficiency, and exceptional service.
In this role you will lead the day-to-day administration, security, and optimization of the Microsoft 365 environment and oversee core collaboration platforms, managing vendor relationships, and supporting technology transitions that align with organizational goals.

What You’ll Do:
- Administer, configure, and optimize the Microsoft 365 environment, including IAM, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Implement and maintain security controls such as MFA, Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender, RBAC, and data governance policies (retention, DLP, sensitivity labels, audit logging).
- Monitor system health, licensing, and usage governance.
- Support compliance with GLBA, SOC, and other applicable frameworks.
- Maintain audit evidence, conduct periodic internal control reviews, and partner with Compliance on reporting and readiness.
- Manage endpoints using Intune/Endpoint Manager, including device enrollment, configuration, encryption, and compliance.
- Lead onboarding/offboarding processes, hardware provisioning, and overall asset lifecycle.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Detail-oriented professional with a continuous improvement mindset
- Familiarity with endpoint/device management such as Intune or Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- Collaborative team player who communicates clearly and effectively
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field; or 5 years of equivalent experience in IT administration and Microsoft 365 management.
- Demonstrated experience implementing Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Azure AD/IAM).
- Experience implementing security controls in Microsoft 365 (e.g., MFA, Conditional Access, Defender) and supporting audit evidence collection.
- Background developing operational documentation, SOPs, runbook, and user training resources.
- Strong understanding of data governance, identity management, and compliance frameworks (GLBA, SOC).
