Traveling Construction Assistant Project Manager — Multi-State (WY, MT, SD, AZ)
Excel is looking for a Travelling Construction Assistant Project Manager to assist in managing our water/sewer, underground utility, and civil site projects across Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, and Arizona. We're a small team, so you won't get lost in layers of management — you'll work directly with us, and what you do matters.
This job is built for someone who'd rather be on a job site than behind a desk, and who's genuinely up for living a nomad lifestyle and generally living in an RV on a jobsite.
What you'll do
- Assist with projects start to finish — scheduling, budgets, production goals
- Keep crews, subs, equipment, and materials moving
- Walk sites, check quality, keep things safe and up to code
- Be the go-to person for clients, engineers, and inspectors
- Keep leadership in the loop with solid documentation
What you bring
- 3–5 years assisting or managing utility, underground, or civil construction projects
- Real experience with water/sewer pipeline and site development work
- Can juggle a few active projects without dropping the ball
- Talks straight, leads well, solves problems on the fly
- Valid driver's license and genuinely okay with heavy travel

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
