Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Proctor to oversee standardized testing sessions in a classroom environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students and possess strong organizational and communication skills. This role is essential in ensuring a fair and secure testing environment while providing excellent customer service to test-takers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise students during standardized testing to ensure compliance with testing protocols.
- Educate students on testing procedures and guidelines prior to the examination.
- Monitor the testing environment for any irregularities or breaches of protocol.
- Provide assistance to students as needed, addressing questions or concerns during the test.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and any incidents that occur during testing sessions.
- Communicate effectively with both students and staff to facilitate a smooth testing process.
- Organize and prepare the testing area, ensuring all necessary materials are available and in order.
- Perform administrative support tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience with standardized testing processes is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills to assist students effectively.
- Ability to educate and inform students about testing requirements clearly.
- Familiarity with classroom settings and adult education principles is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with diverse groups of individuals.
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is highly desirable.
