About the Role:
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will help lead two to three active projects at a time, serving as the essential link between design, field operations, and ownership. You will manage logistics, budgets, and schedules ensuring each project is delivered with the precision, beauty and mindfulness that defines quality craftmanship.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily construction activities and subcontractor performance
- Manage project schedules, cost forecasting, and change orders
- Collaborate with superintendents, architects, engineers, and clients to align execution with design and budget
- Monitor quality, safety, and sustainability across all project phases
- Support procurement, permitting, and inspection processes
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress to leadership and clients
- Represent the company’s values of craftsmanship, transparency, and teamwork in every interaction
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field or equivalent hands-on experience in the industry
- 3-5 years of experience in a general-contractor environment
- Experience across commercial, hospitality, and/or high-end residential/estate construction
- Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Suite, MS Project, or Bluebeam
- Strong understanding of California building codes, permitting, and safety standards
- OSHA 30 certification (required within six months of hire)
- Professional credentials such as PMP, CMAA, AIC, or LEED AP are preferred
