Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Wash Tank / Assembly Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper assembly of components using industrial cleaning techniques and chemical agents. Duties
- Operate wash tanks and cleaning equipment to thoroughly clean parts, tools, and assembly components using appropriate chemical agents and sanitation procedures
- Handle chemicals safely by following all chemical handling safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and work areas
- Assist in assembling components accurately according to specifications, ensuring quality control throughout the process
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold industrial cleaning standards
- Follow all safety protocols diligently during heavy lifting, chemical handling, and equipment operation to prevent accidents or contamination
Qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing preferred
- Basic math skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as required by the role
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on food safety and cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
