Are you passionate about hospitality sales and motivated by the opportunity to drive revenue and build lasting client relationships? We’re looking for a Sales Manager to join our team at the Best Western Plus Carpinteria.

This role offers the chance to lead proactive sales efforts, implement new initiatives, and collaborate closely with the General Manager to ensure the success of the property. Compensation: $31.00 - $34.00 per hour

Essential Job Functions

• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and market share for the Best Western Plus Carpinteria.
• Schedule and conduct sales appointments, client visits, and site tours.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, group, and leisure clients to generate repeat and new business.
• Conduct solicitation calls and participate in sales blitzes and community networking events.
• Maintain accurate sales data, track production, and prepare weekly activity recaps for the General Manager and Regional Director of Sales.
• Analyze revenue trends, STR reports, and market data to identify opportunities and adjust strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure guest needs and event details are executed flawlessly.
• Provide support with marketing collateral, proposals, and client correspondence.
• Represent the hotel at local events, trade shows, and chamber functions as needed.
• Assist with additional sales and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience preferred (Best Western brand experience a plus).
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals and developing client relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Best Western tools or similar CRM systems preferred.
• Must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver’s license.
