Your Role as a Home Health Aide (HHA)
As a Home Health Aide (HHA) with Excel Home Care Services, you will play an important role in helping clients maintain their quality of life. Your responsibilities may include:
Personal Care
- Assisting clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Providing mobility assistance and support with activities of daily living
- Helping clients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence
Companionship & Emotional Support
- Offering conversation, encouragement, and a friendly presence
- Building trusting relationships with clients and their families
- Providing compassionate support and companionship throughout the day
Daily Living Support
- Preparing meals and encouraging proper nutrition and hydration
- Assisting with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe home environment
- Helping with laundry, organization, and approved errands
Quality Care & Communication
- Following individualized care plans
- Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
- Accurately documenting care provided
- Communicating with the care team to support quality outcomes
