We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing Services to lead and oversee all nursing operations within our healthcare facility. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all nursing activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care across multiple settings such as assisted living, home health, hospice, and acute care.
- Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans in accordance with residents’ needs and regulatory standards.
- Oversee documentation review processes including medical records, medical terminology accuracy, and compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect resident privacy.
- Supervise nurse management staff by providing guidance on shift management, staffing schedules, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments and Medicare documentation to support reimbursement processes.
- Maintain proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for efficient documentation and data management.
- Monitor adherence to healthcare regulations including HIPAA, Medicare requirements, and state licensing standards while fostering a culture of compliance.
- Provide leadership in managing medical records, documentation review, and ensuring proper recordkeeping practices are followed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery based on physiology knowledge, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology expertise.
- Manage staff supervising experience by mentoring nurses in clinical best practices while promoting professional growth.
Experience
- Proven management experience in nursing administration within assisted living facilities or nursing homes is essential.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with nurse management teams in fast-paced healthcare environments such as home health or hospice care.
- Extensive background in nursing practice with familiarity in acute care settings is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of care plans development tailored to residents’ individual needs including residents’
(personal preferences), medical history, and functional status. - Experience working with EMR/EHR systems for documentation review and medical records management.
- Deep understanding of Medicare regulations, HIPAA compliance standards, medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy relevant to nursing practice.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
