EXCEL Group is a renowned industrial contractor with a commitment to excellence and a track record of delivering exceptional projects. We are seeking a talented and dedicated person for a General Labor Maintenance position in Plaquemine, LA to contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Labor duties.
• Interior and Exterior painting.
• Hanging Dry wall.
• Installing materials such as white boards and dispensers.
• Forklift operations.
• Using basic hand tools and power tools.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in carpentry, construction, or related fields is desirable but not required.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and carpentry techniques.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions and indoor/outdoor environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to performing tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks, procedures, and technologies in the field of carpentry maintenance.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to established protocols, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in industrial environments.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50–100 pounds.
• Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolds, ascend and descend stairs, and work safely at elevated heights.
• Ability to work in awkward positions, including kneeling, crouching, stooping, bending, and crawling for extended periods.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods during a work shift.
• Ability to work overhead and perform repetitive motions involving arms, shoulders, and hands.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, respirators, hearing protection, fall-protection harnesses, and steel-toed boots.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, humidity, rain, and dusty environments.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to noise, vibration, fumes, and industrial work environments.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass Required medical, including drug screening.
