We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team at the Westlake Chemical Facility in Calvert City, KY. This position plays a vital role in supporting the maintenance of our cell room operations in an active industrial environment.
The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a physically demanding industrial setting. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience and grow within a reputable company. On-the-job training is provided.
Responsibilities:
- Replace faulty membranes, cells and hoses on 12 electrolyzers.
- Replace old cell gaskets and hose gaskets, which are required during electrolyzer shutdowns.
- Roll up and store used membranes for analysis.
- Clean gasket material from cells and, as needed, steam and wash cells for maintenance or shipment to a repair facility in Houston, TX.
- Remove salt or caustic buildup on cells.
- Assist with additional labor tasks outside the cell room, including cleanup in other process and bulk handling areas.
- Operate a forklift for loading/unloading materials and transporting drums to storage (as needed).
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Ged required.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Ability to work in a Chemical Facility environment.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.

Starting Pay: $18.00 with potential for advancement.
