What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Assistant/Technician position at Excel Eyecare?
Busy optometric practice is looking for a professional, organized and energetic new staff member. The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, willing to cross train, have great customer service skills and will be a team player with a "can do" attitude. No experience is necessary but must be eager to learn. The position is Monday through Thursday, and no weekends (approximately 30 hrs/week). No insurance benefits but paid vacations and holidays plus 401K available with match.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Calendar).
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with office management procedures and practices.
- Competent computer literacy with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with clients.
- Prior experience is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to work independently while being part of a team-oriented environment.
