What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Technician position at Excel Engineering Inc?
A Technician should be capable of completing various types of field surveys, construction staking, and mapping tasks under the direction of a Professional Land Surveyor. The candidate will utilize Trimble GPS and Trimble Robotic Total Stations. Candidate shall have the ability to work alone or with another member of a survey crew and can effectively communicate with clients and contractors. This individual will also be required to complete some survey drafting along with uploading/downloading data collectors utilizing Auto Cad Civil 3D.
Not based in Fond du Lac? No problem. If you’re within an hour of our office, you’ll travel directly from home to the jobsite.
Requirements: Associate’s degree in Land Surveying or Civil Engineering Technology is preferred; none required.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years
Signing Bonus: $5,000 based on experience
