Commissioning Agent
The Commissioning Agent will work collaboratively with the Commissioning Provider to plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning services for a range of commercial and retail projects. This position will support both local and out-of-area projects throughout the United States.
Primary responsibilities include reviewing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design documents; developing and verifying commissioning documentation; leading pre-commissioning coordination meetings; performing on-site functional performance testing; and managing project documentation through closeout.
This role requires strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, as well as excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Travel Requirement:
This position supports projects in multiple regions and may require periodic travel to job sites across the U.S. to support national clients.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or 3–5 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related building systems.
- Working knowledge of MEP systems and building commissioning processes.
- Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) or Certified Commissioning Technician (CxT) credentials preferred.
- Strong documentation, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative project team in both field and office environments.
