Dental Assistant Position
Either Part-Time or Full-time
We are a unique, busy, and patient-oriented dental practice searching for an enthusiastic dental assistant. While this position could possibly be an entry-level position we much prefer at least one year experience. Starting would be 4 to 5 days per week with some flexibility on your end. Pay will be depending on experience. We need someone to be available Monday thru Friday, and can be somewhat flexible with days(expect somewhere between 25 -40 hours per week). We are a growing office looking for the right candidate to help us continue growing.
Our dental practice is a fast paced, dynamic and a highly skilled office looking for a dental assistant to fit our team. Our position available requires one to assist for all dental procedures (i.e. fillings, root canals, crowns/bridges and extractions, IV Sedation, Implant dentistry, Cerec). We are willing to train in unfamiliar dental procedures if needed.
Requirements:
*Must have excellent communication skills, ability to explain dental procedures, professional bedside manner
*Must be detail oriented, staying a step ahead of their doctor with assisting, going above and beyond for the patient's best interest and their care.
Must be organized and structured, able to setup for procedures, understanding of the schedule and efficiency
*Chairside assisting: fillings, crown & bridge along w/ temporary crown fabrication, RCT’s, extractions, hygiene perio assessment, willingness to learn
*Cerec knowledge is a PLUS; creating lab cases, scanning patients for crowns/bridges
*Eaglesoft knowledge; adding/removing treatment, creating notes, creating lab cases
*Confidence in assisting skills and knowledge of helping their doctor with the flow of the schedule
*A current Washington State RDA and current CPR required upon hiring date.
Compensation and benefits depending on experience.
