What You’ll Do
Assist with general maintenance: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
Complete repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems
Respond to work orders and maintenance requests from staff
Help maintain clean and safe common areas, resident rooms, and outdoor spaces
Support seasonal tasks like snow removal and landscaping
Monitor supplies and tools, and report any hazards or needed repairs
Help with room setups, furniture moves, and facility inspections
Follow safety and infection control protocols at all times
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in maintenance or skilled trades preferred
Basic knowledge of building systems and hand tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call shifts
Experience in healthcare or long-term care settings a plus
