What are the responsibilities and job description for the PC/Apple Repair Technician - Entry Level position at Exceed Technologies Inc?
Job Summary: Provide customers with quality computer repair service and superior customer service. This person will work closely with management and provide additional support for other departments
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Professionally greet customers both in person and on the phone
- Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information
- Professionally handle customer requests for technical assistance with electronic devices and/or computer equipment
- Assess customer’s technical needs
- Provide quality service and support in a variety of areas including, but not limited to: Internet access, computer repair, and troubleshooting of technical systems and electronic devices.
- Ensure prompt and accurate responses to customers
- Educate the customer where applicable
- Thoroughly document the work completed using the company ticket system
- Provide support and assistance with a variety of tasks as determined or defined by management.
Education and Skills:
- High school diploma preferred, but not required
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in the information technology field, relevant education degree, and/or certifications such as A are a benefit
- Knowledge of basic computer hardware and other electronic devices (cell phones and tablets)
- Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing or technical issues
- Ability to work well with customers and co-workers
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills; attention to detail necessary
- Ability to provide superior customer service
- Self-motivated, dependable, professional, and able to handle multiple tasks
- Strong decision making and analytical abilities
Job Type: Full-time
