Bilingual Safety Professional - Entry Level

This role is a full-time, W2 position, located in Greensboro, NC. The schedule is 40 hours per week, minimum. Nights and weekends are possible, as needed.

Drug Testing And Background Checks Are Required.

Pay rate is up to $25/hour.

Local Candidates In The Greensboro Area Required.

Responsibilities

• Working directly with the client on select jobsites, the safety professional conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments
• Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs
• Plans, implements, manages, and maintains comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on client project site
• Provides project management team with guidance on health and safety and confirms project site fulfills industry, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations
• Collaborates with management to develop an Emergency Action Plan and serve as primary contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management. Maintains a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence
• Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good engineering practices
• Provides technical support to project managers
• Participates in team meetings and provides regular on-site project presence

• Familiar with large scale commercial projects, construction processes, and tools

Education, Experience, And Licensing Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certifications in: First Aid, CPR, OSHA 30 (Construction Safety)
  
  

WORK ENVIROMENT

Work is conducted in both indoor office settings and outdoor job site settings. Environmental conditions will vary.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb, type, carry up to 40 lbs. pushing and bending. May be required to occasionally work at heights and in confined space.
