Role Description The Reserve Watch Officer is a part-time, on-site role based in Washington, DC. This position is responsible for monitoring breaking events and providing timely reports to leadership, tracking incidents, analyzing information, supporting emergency response, and maintaining operational logs and communications systems. In this role, you will also work closely with homeland security and emergency management partners, support senior executives during briefings and critical meetings, and ensure all equipment and systems remain mission-ready. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing logs and reports, analyzing potential threats, coordinating with security and operations personnel, and escalating issues to different agency departments when necessary. This role requires high situational awareness, clear communication, and reliable decision-making in time-sensitive situations.
Pay Range: $45.00/hr-$50.00/hr
Qualifications
- Active TS clearance
- Supports 24/7 OpsCenter operations
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Experience in Emergency Management, Crisis Response, or Intelligence Analysis
Training Requirements
All employees are required to undergo a fully paid three-week training program. This training program will take place primarily during the day shift between 0600-1800, but there will be some other shifts mixed in to ensure all shifts duties are covered.
Requested availability
Seeking part-time candidates to work night shift. There is a minimum of two 13-hour night shift per month but prefer candidates with open availability to cover night shifts 17:30 – 06:30. Additional shifts may vary depending on operational needs.
Salary : $45 - $50
