Job Title: Project Manager Application/Infrastructure Decommissioning
Location: Raynham, MA (Hybrid 2 days/week onsite)
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong decommissioning experience to support enterprise application and infrastructure retirement initiatives for our client . The ideal candidate should have expertise in managing end-to-end decommission projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, handling risk mitigation, and ensuring smooth transition and shutdown activities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage application/infrastructure decommissioning projects from initiation to closure.
- Coordinate with business, infrastructure, security, compliance, and vendor teams.
- Create project plans, timelines, risk assessments, and status reports.
- Manage dependency tracking, data archival, migration, and retirement activities.
- Ensure compliance with governance, audit, and security standards.
- Drive stakeholder communication and executive reporting.
- Track project milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
- Facilitate issue resolution and remove project roadblocks.
- 10 years of Project Management experience.
- Strong experience in application or infrastructure decommissioning projects.
- Experience with enterprise environments and large-scale migrations/retirements.
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, MS Project, ServiceNow, or similar.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP certification is a plus.
