Senior Industrial Hygiene Technician

Examinetics is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Industrial Hygiene Technician to join our team! We are considering candidates in Dallas, Houston, Nashville, Chicago, Kansas City, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Denver. Frequent domestic travel is required for this position, approximately 75%. The Senior Industrial Hygiene Technician role involves performing routine assessments, collecting samples, developing industrial hygiene assessment reports, and interpreting results. Benefits:$80,000 SalaryMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance401K Employer MatchingAccrue up to 3 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO)Annual Company Bonus OpportunityPrimary Responsibilities:Conduct routine inspections of workplace environments to identify potential hazards such as chemical, biological, and physical risks.Follow an industrial hygiene sampling plan for sampling at the client site.Perform air, noise, water, and surface sampling for contaminants, and analyze data to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot industrial hygiene equipment such as air pumps, noise dosimeters, and gas detectors.Monitor workplace conditions for compliance with OSHA, NIOSH, and other industrial hygiene standards.Assist in the development and implementation of hazard control measures, including ventilation systems, PPE, and safety protocols.Communicate with company project management and client for industrial hygiene assessments.Develop reports on industrial hygiene monitoring, including findings, corrective actions, and recommendations.Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all industrial hygiene assessments during site work. Travel to/from client work sites. (over 75% travel requirement)Job Requirements:Education and/or Experience:Associate’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Safety, or a related field required.Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Safety, or a related field preferred.3 years’ experience in industrial hygiene sampling and report writing.Skills & Abilities:Familiarity with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, NIOSH, ACGIH) and industrial hygiene practices.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProblem-solving and critical thinking abilities.Ability to develop industrial hygiene reports. Ability to work independently and self-starterEffective scheduling and time management skills.Willing and able to travel domestically at least 75% annually.Willing and able to travel by car and plane.Able to coordinate and book travel arrangements and submit reimbursement requests. Willing and able to work 40-50 hours/ week (estimated), off shifts and weekends, as needed. Proficient use of Microsoft (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), internet, and laboratory sample methodology websites.Additional Requirements:Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
