What You’ll Do
- Act as the primary liaison between in-house platforms and other internal/external teams to define and establish system connectivity requirements
- Analyze and document system communication methods (e.g., messaging protocols, file transfers, APIs, MQ, SFTP, etc.)
- Partner with technology teams to coordinate network connectivity, security permissions, and certificate management
- Oversee the testing, validation, and production rollout of new connections to ensure stability, accuracy, and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues in collaboration with infrastructure, middleware, and application teams
- Maintain accurate and current documentation for integration setups, message formats, and interface specifications
- Support ongoing production maintenance and continuous improvement related to connectivity and integration points
What You Bring
- 5 years of experience in technical analysis, integration, or connectivity roles within Capital Markets or Financial Services, particularly working with market-data providers, ECNs, and trading platforms
- Strong understanding of system-to-system communication (e.g., messaging queues, file transfers, APIs, FIX, MQ, SFTP)
- Proven ability to coordinate across infrastructure, networking, and application teams to deliver robust connectivity solutions
- Familiarity with network protocols, firewall/security concepts, and user permission management
- Hands-on experience in testing, validating, and implementing data and message interfaces
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to bridge business, operations, and technology teams effectively
Nice to Have
- Exposure to trading platforms and front-to-back trade flow processes in a Capital Markets environment
- Experience with middleware technologies such as IBM MQ, Solace, or Kafka, and API integration frameworks
