What You’ll Do
- Analyze and validate eFX workflows and integrations with liquidity providers and trading platforms
- Conduct FIX protocol testing, including certification, message validation, and session behavior
- Review FIX logs to identify, diagnose, and resolve connectivity or workflow issues
- Perform manual testing and contribute to automated testing initiatives
- Use FIX simulators and validation tools to perform comprehensive end-to-end testing
- Troubleshoot issues across Linux/Unix and Windows environments
- Perform backend and data validation using SQL
- Ensure workflows such as RFQ, RFS, streaming, execution, and order lifecycle meet business and industry standards
- Configure FIX engines, including session parameters, message routing, TLS/security, and connection settings
- Maintain FIX gateways to ensure high availability, resiliency, and optimal performance
- Collaborate with development teams to build or update FIX adapters
What You Bring
- Strong understanding of FX markets and eFX trading workflows
- Deep knowledge of FIX 4.x/5.x message formats and protocol behavior
- Experience with FIX certification, message validation, and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience analyzing FIX logs and debugging connectivity issues
- Familiarity with manual testing and automated testing frameworks
- Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows environments
- SQL knowledge for backend testing and data validation
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, low-latency environments
- Experience integrating OMS/EMS systems with liquidity providers and market makers
- Ability to translate business requirements into FIX messages and custom tags
- Experience configuring FIX engines, message dictionaries, session parameters, and routing rules
- Knowledge of network connectivity setups relevant to FIX onboarding
