Pharmacy Technician Lead - Operations

Job Details The Lead Pharmacy Technician roles were created to provide growth opportunities for current ExactCare Pharmacy Technicians that have displayed dedication to enhancing their skill set. These individuals will serve as the subject matter expert of their designated pharmacy team. They will work alongside the Pharmacy Managers to drive and support department efficiencies. In this role, the expectation is to act as a leader. This includes, but is not limited to, living by example and supporting company and department goals. Also, the Lead Technician will demonstrate their ability to drive results and achieve a consistent standard of work from the pharmacy team. Responsibilities High level of contribution in front line, day to day work as assigned by leadership Serve as a lead resource and mentor for a team of remote pharmacy technicians Oversee daily operational workflows, ensuring adherence to process standards Collaborate with training, quality, and compliance teams to support onboarding, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives Monitor workload distribution, address escalations, and support team prioritization and productivity Partner with the Operations Manager to track performance metrics, support team coaching, and contribute to KPI reporting Identify process gaps and propose improvements to drive efficiency and reduce risk Support system updates, documentation, and SOP adherence across the team Maintain strong communication across departments, helping to resolve issues impacting operational performance Support leadership in diagnosing and improving performance of team members Support team member development through feedback and ongoing performance management Other duties as assigned Qualifications Strong attention to detail Demonstrates strong time management and organizational abilities Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication High level understanding of adjudicating claims and overcoming rejections Ability to provide constructive feedback and hold team members accountable Uses strategic planning to develop schedules that adhere to departments goals and expectations Demonstrates ability to multi-task and support various aspects within Operations Requirements Must be 18 years of age. High school diploma /GED required. Highly Preferred: Experience with ExactCare Pharmacy operations and processes Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with an active license in good standing Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, billing, or auditing processes Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to perform in a remote setting that requires sitting at a desk 90% of the time AnewHealth offers a comprehensive benefit package for full-time employees that includes medical/dental/vision, flexible spending, company-paid life insurance and short-term disability as well as voluntary benefits, 401(k), Paid Time Off and paid holidays.
