Job duties: Act as Lead Data Manager on complex clinical studies and projects; either independently or by directing others, provide expert CDO functional representation to study teams. Create, configure, and maintain novel or complex clinical study databases and related tools; including screen design, edit check development, query management, data extraction, and data management related reporting. Prepare and maintain complex documentation, as required, by established departmental procedures, practices, or project specific needs. Provide appropriate support and coordinate with other functional areas regarding overall clinical study conduct and management, including protocol development, study startup, study closeout, and data analysis. Create specifications for and build Electronic Data Capture (EDC) study databases including edit checks and dynamic entry screens. Remote work benefit available. Employee can work from anywhere within the U.S. Ability to travel domestically, 10% of time based on a 40 hour workweek, may include overnight/weekend travel. Salary Range: $78,499.00 - $168,000.00. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in a Life Sciences field, scientific‐based field, or related field and 8 years of experience in a Clinical Data Manager/Coordinator role or capacity. Other Special Skills or Requirements: Professional experience and highly proficient with Electronic Data Capture(EDC) systems (8 years). Act as Lead Data Manager on complex to highly complex projects (8 years). Author EDC database build specifications, eCRF specifications, Data Management Plans, Data Lock Plans, and data transfer requirements (8 years). Perform EDC database builds and validation (8 years). Interact with internal study team members, external partners, or vendors to define complex data management requirements, plan for deliverables, and communicate progress and findings (8 years). Professional experience and highly proficient with industry Data Management processes, procedures, and best practices (8 years). Experience supervising project level data management activities (7 years). Experience training or mentoring others on complex processes, procedures, guidelines, and best practices (6 years).
The annual base salary shown is a national range for this position on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
