Sanitation Associate (Food Manufacturing – Jerky Production)
Location: Ontario, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rates
- 1st Shift: $17.75/hour | 4:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: $18.25/hour | 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM
- 3rd Shift: $19.50/hour | 8:50 PM – 5:30 AM
Schedule
1st & 2nd Shift
- 4-day workweek
- 12-hour shifts
- Includes one 8-hour revolving workday
3rd Shift
- 6 days per week
- 1 day off during the week
- Weekend availability is required

We are currently hiring experienced Sanitation Associates for a growing jerky food manufacturing facility in Ontario, CA.

Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, trays, utensils, and work areas.
- Wash trays and other food manufacturing equipment thoroughly.
- Follow all food safety, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
- Properly use cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment.
- Remove waste and keep production areas inspection-ready.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Perform additional sanitation duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be bilingual (English & Spanish).
- Minimum 2 years of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing or food production environment is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Must be dependable with excellent attendance.
- Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed.
- Must be able to smell smelly environments
- Must be able to confortable getting wet. Wet and cold environment
