Essential Functions
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales goals and increase market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
- Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of sales metrics to senior management.
- Work with the marketing team to enhance brand awareness and increase market share through targeted campaigns and innovative marketing strategies.
- Analyze market trends and customer insights to guide product positioning and promotional activities.
- Identify and engage potential clients through various channels.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities for software sales.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Close sales by overcoming objections and addressing customer concerns.
- Provide post-sale support and ensure client satisfaction by addressing any issues that may arise.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to foster long-term relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Track sales performance and report on key metrics, including sales forecasts and pipeline management.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by President.
- Deep understanding of the software being sold, including features, benefits, and how it compares to competitors.
- Familiarity with various sales methodologies (e.g., consultative selling, solution selling) to effectively engage potential clients.
- Basic understanding of technology and software development to communicate effectively with clients and address their technical concerns.
- Knowledge of industry trends, market demands, and competitive landscape to better position the product.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, focusing on their needs and fostering trust.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management software to track leads, customer interactions, and sales performance.
- Efficiently managing time and priorities to maximize productivity and complete objectives within deadlines.
- Capability to identify and address client pain points through tailored software solutions.
- Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations that highlight the software's advantages.
- Ability to handle objections gracefully and find common ground with clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5 years experience in software sales or technology sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Electronic health records, human resources or medical experience is a huge asset
