The 2026 Summer Internship Program will run from May 18, 2026, through August 7, 2026. Candidates must be available to start on May 18 and participate through the duration of the program. Who Are We? What Will You Do? In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for: Establishes and maintains engineered time standards for direct labor operations. Establishes methods and processes for assembly, welding, paint line and related material handling on new products and equipment. Works with department supervisors and value stream manufacturing engineers with implementation of new methods and processes. Makes recommendations for improving safety, quality, or productivity activities. Implements proper ergonomics in work station setup, processes, tooling and safety equipment. Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved. Creates necessary documentation (standard work, Heijunka cards, etc) for all new product launches. Collaborate across all functions of the business and learn what it takes to be part of a great team What Do You Need? To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with an ability to learn and apply new things • Strong analytical and organizational skills • Problem solving acumen • Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), CAD software, Test Instrumentation • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize based on due dates or importance What Can We Give You?
