Overview
We are a well-established aerospace and defense distribution company with over 50 years of industry experience and operations in both the United States and the United Kingdom. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Admin / Procurement Clerk to join our US office full time.
This position plays an important role in supporting daily procurement, order processing, shipping coordination, and customer service activities. The ideal candidate is organized, computer savvy, capable of working independently, and comfortable interacting across departments and international offices. Aerospace industry experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate willing to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and processing quotations and customer orders
- Coordinating with our UK Sales Office
- Supporting customer service activities
- Generating shipping and export documentation
- Communicating with carriers and freight forwarders
- Assisting with export license procedures and compliance documentation
- Auditing orders to ensure readiness for shipment
- Generating reports from the company ERP/system
- Invoicing and maintaining accurate records
- Resolving shipping, documentation, and order-related issues
- Supporting internal departments including Customer Service, Warehouse, and Management
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior administrative, procurement, logistics, or order processing experience preferred
- Aerospace or defense industry experience is a strong advantage
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable learning customer portals and internal systems
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
