The employee will be based out of a manufacturing facility for which the employer has service based contracts to provide on-site management, disperse and handle all lubricants and chemicals, including but not limited, to washer soluble coolants, washer chemicals, water and waste treatment chemicals as specified by the customer. Some of the responsibilities of the position are as follows:
- Ensure that the chemical and lubricant handling procedures are followed to maintain compliance with all work order schedules
- Fluid and additive additions, sample collections, rudimentary sample/system tests, sump pump-outs/clean outs and recharges.
- Receive and distribute chemicals including assisting with stock rotation requirements, month end stock counts, maintenance of lubrication preventive maintenance programs, the operation/maintenance of fluid repolishing equipment/evaporators, capture of all designated fluids for recycling/repolishing
- Informing supervisor of all problem machines and preventive maintenance issues, reporting on all requests from the shop/plant floor and all other chemical handling and related tasks.
Job Specific Skills/Knowledge:
- Mechanical and/or technical background
- Good problem-solving skills and verbal communication skills
- Capable of handling full 55 gallon drums, prolonged kneeling and/or squatting
- Ability to climb onto and under various machines in a safe, prudent manner
- Forklift operator training (preferred)

This is a 3rd shift position. Hours: M-F, midnight to 8 a.m.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.53 per hour
