The primary responsibility of a Guest Service Associate (GSA) is creating an exceptional guest experience while achieving sales goals and assisting management with daily administrative tasks. This individual must have a willingness to initiate genuine conversation & connection while educating guests on product service recommendations. Some essential functions, behaviors, and expectations include: Develop a thorough understanding of European Wax Center services and productsUpsell and cross-sell retail products & various waxing services Educate guests on benefits and savings of Wax PassesArrive to work timely following the appropriate dress code, including wearing of the required name tagCreate a memorable guest experience by utilizing EWC terminology and tailoring the scripts and standard responses while working in the locationConfirm each guest service(s) and offer recommended/related add on service(s)Administer check-ins and check-outs, processing payments, refunds and reservation requestsInform the guest of the pre-booking benefits and how to utilize the app to rescheduleOrganize the reservation book based on guest requests and associate availabilityPerform opening and closing procedures for the centerMaintain a safe, sparkling clean, organized and visually pleasant environment within lobby and restroomsRequirementsHigh school diploma or GED2 years customer service experience or sales experience, preferably in a retail environmentExceptional interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detailGood time management and organizational skillsFlexibility to perform external or internal events may be requiredAbility to work flexible days and hours, including weekends/evenings Exude a positive, friendly, and personable demeanorAbility to receive and provide feedbackMaintain a professional appearance at all times as defined in the EWC Growth Associate HandbookPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk and hear.
