About The Role
A key member of EWC’s in-house paid media planning and buying team, the Senior Paid Search Specialist will set up, run, and continually optimize Brand and Non-Brand campaigns that meet and exceed media KPIs for the national always-on buy and a variety of local and seasonal efforts.
A Day in the Life
- Play an important role in EWC’s guest acquisition engine by converting user intent and search demand into guest bookings and revenue.
- Architect brand and non-brand campaigns at the national and local levels across both evergreen strategies and key seasonal periods for EWC.
- Consistently update campaigns and optimize them to hit primary and secondary KPIs.
- Utilize keyword research and social listening tools to:
- Plan for the launches of new products and service offerings.
- Test a variety of ad copy while staying true to European Wax Center’s brand voice.
- Consistently update brand, non-brand, and negative keyword lists.
- Review quality score components and collaborate with the SEO team to improve ad relevance.
- Leverage value-based bidding to optimize for and measure conversions that are relevant to campaign goals.
- Plan and manage YouTube campaigns that drive brand awareness and consideration, using audience targeting, creative testing, and performance insights to maximize impact.
- Partner with key stakeholders on audience targeting strategies to maximize campaign performance
- Monitor and optimize campaigns by analyzing channel and business performance in dashboards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, such as CRM, product, and creative, to align media reporting insights with broader marketing objectives.
- Perform regular campaign audits to identify new opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Setup, maintain, and automate eCommerce feeds in Google Merchant Center
- Supports additional projects as needed.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of overall online advertising experience.
- 3 years of experience managing PPC and YouTube campaigns including eCommerce (shopping).
- 1 year of experience setting up and optimizing Google Performance Max campaigns.
- Experience in Google Search Ads 360 preferred.
- Experience working in other paid media channels (paid search, programmatic, etc) is a plus.
- Advanced GA4 Expertise: At least 1-2 years of experience in Google Analytics 4, with proficiency in setting up custom tracking events, funnels, and goal conversions.
- Hands-on experience managing enterprise-level tag management solutions (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch).
- Demonstrated experience running and analyzing A/B and multivariate tests to inform web and media strategies.
- Google Ads certification required.
- Experience working on an in-house marketing team is a plus.
- Experience running local campaigns is a plus.
- Experience in franchise/distributed workforce environments is a plus.
