Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities to ensure the team meets or exceeds output, quality, and efficiency goals
- Lead, motivate, and support production employees through clear communication and hands-on supervision
- Monitor workflow and resolve bottlenecks, downtime, or quality issues quickly
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth material flow and inventory accuracy
- Enforce health and safety protocols while maintaining a clean, organized workspace
- Train and onboard new employees in standard operating procedures
- Track and report daily production metrics
- Conduct daily team huddles to align on priorities and expectations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Address personnel matters professionally while fostering a respectful team culture
Qualifications
- Prior leadership experience in a warehouse or production environment preferred
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices
- Lean manufacturing experience (a plus)
- High School Diploma or GED
