Recreation Assistant (Head Lifeguard) NF-02

This position is located on the Island of Oahuat Pililaau Army Recreation Center, Waianae, HI.

Qualifications:

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.Required Qualifications:Minimum Qualification Criteria

• Must hold current Waterfront Lifeguard, CPR, Oxygen Administration, AED, and First Aid certifications
• Ability to obtain First Responder certification within 6 months of hire

• Must have 12 months of experience in waterfront lifeguard operations, including ocean rescue experience

• Must demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and complete tasks within established timeframes

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and using correct grammar

• Possess effective people skills and the ability to work well with staff and the public

• Experience with office and administrative functions, including preparing and managing reports
• Lifeguard Instructor certificate is preferred
