Assistant Aquatics Manager NF-03

This position is located at Aliamanu Military Reservation Pool. Honolulu, Hawaii

This is a regular full-time seasonal position with employment effective from May to September.

Qualifications:

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS CRITERIA:

1. Demonstrated experience in planning and executing aquatic programs. This experience may have been gained managing indoor or outdoor aquatic programs and facilities.

2. Required experience must have been equivalent to the next lower grade level. Current certification in Life guarding or Life guarding instructor, First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent.

3. The following certificates must be obtained within 12 months of appointment:

• Water Safety Instructor;
• Aquatic Facilities Operator (AFO) or Pool Operator certification

4. For facilities that use Automated External Defibrillator "AED's" and Oxygen Administration "O2 bottles" the following certificate must be obtained within two weeks of reporting for duty:

• AED
• 02 Administration

Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed until the minimum qualifications/duties criteria shown above.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified."

HIGHLY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:

All required certifications must be uploaded at the time of application to be considered a highly preferred candidate

1. Currently hold certification for Water Safety Instructor.
2. Currently hold Aquatics Facilities Operator (AFO) certification or Pool Operator certification.
