What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at EW Birch Builders & Construction, Inc.?
Heavy Equipment Operator (excavator, dozer, skidsteer & chainsaw) Needed Full Time Year-Round Work. 7am -3:30pm for a New Construction Builder / Developer Company. If you have a keen eye to details with 3 years of experience as an operator for building construction including; clearing of lots / land, foundations, underground utility installation, site demolition, curb and sidewalk prep, box culverts, water main, septic and sewer install experience. Including experience reading plans / stakes with the ability to check grades & knows soil types how they affect the work being performed and the hazards they present, as necessary for excavation, back filling, loading and unloading and moving materials. If you have good decision-making skills, workplace safety practices, ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner we would like you to join our team.
***Must be licensed to drive in NY State with a clean license and drug free. Capable to get to and from work on time ready to work. Read, Understand English & perform basic mathematical calculations, understanding of tools and safe practices, maintain good work ethics and communications, Pay will be based on experience.
