We’re looking for a passionate and curious Research assistant to join our team. What You’ll Do

  • Perform chemical handling procedures to fulfil orders in alignment with departmental timelines.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of lab equipment, such as liquid handling instruments and analytical balances.
  • Maintain, review, and curate records related to research materials across multiple databases.
  • Support intake and validation workflows ensuring materials meet established acceptance criteria.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and report any deviations or data concerns to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing technical reports, intake logs, and related supporting documentation.
  • Organize and analyse data using Microsoft Excel or similar tools, and present key findings using PowerPoint

Who You Are

  • BS or equivalent with scientific discipline and 2 or more years of experience.
  • Proficient in operating analytical balances and liquid handling instruments; experience using Tecan and Biomek liquid handling instruments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Titian’s Mosaic compound management software platform is preferred.
  • Experience working across multiple databases in support of scientific workflows or compliance efforts.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, particularly in managing data and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and with external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data review, organization, analysis) and PowerPoint for visual communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
  • Analytical mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Commitment to high-quality work and adherence to established data management practices.

The hourly pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $23.50 to $30.50; Hourly rate offered may vary depending on the individual’s skills, experience and competitive market value. Additional total rewards include discretionary annual bonus, comprehensive benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision, short-term and long-term disability, company paid basic life insurance, 401k company match, flexible work, generous paid time off and paid holiday, wellness and transportation benefits.
