What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Labor - Clay position at Evoove, LLC?
Evoove partnered with a Brick Manufacturing company who are seeking hardworking and reliable laborers to join the team. Ideal candidate is a self-starter, willing and able to take ownership of tasks at hand and self-manage, will be able to work in a team setting. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Stack/arrange bricks and flue lining in the specific formation addressed
- Unload finished brick and flue lining from the kiln cart
- Inspect the bricks for imperfections such as cracks, chips and color
- Place bricks that passed inspection onto the conveyer belt
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements
- Ability to frequently use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with arms/hands
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, walk frequently
- Occasionally required to bend at the waist; lift and or mov up to 50lbs
- Must have regular and reliable attendance
- High school diploma or GED (preferred), prior experience in manufacturing environment is a plus
- Able to read and follow simple instructions, basic math and reading skills
- May work outdoors in hot or cold weather.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday Some Saturdays
5:00am - 1:30pm
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire, Contract
Pay: $18.00 per hour
