Salary: $52K–$100K DOE
Location: On-site, Columbus, MS
Schedule: Full-Time

About the Role:
The Financial and Cost Analyst will audit and analyze financial data for aerospace projects, track budgets and expenses, and provide actionable insights to support senior leadership decision-making. This role requires collaboration with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, cost control, and compliance with financial and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Track project expenses and forecast budgets; recommend cost-saving measures
• Prepare financial reports and present findings to senior management
• Identify and mitigate financial risks and discrepancies
• Support process improvements and continuous financial data optimization
• Ensure adherence to GAAP/IFRS and aerospace-specific regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; CFA, CPA, or MBA preferred
• 3–5 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in aerospace or engineering
• Strong knowledge of project-based financial management, cost accounting, and auditing
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
