Configuration Manager

Evoove is partnered with a leading aerospace manufacturer to hire a Configuration Manager based in Columbus, MS. This full-time, on-site position plays a key role in maintaining product configuration integrity and compliance across all project phases. (No remote or hybrid options available.)

Salary: $76,000–$130,000 DOE
Relocation: Available for the right candidate (case by case)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures aligned with AS9100 and customer requirements.
• Control product baselines, part numbers, BOMs, and drawings across design, production, and sustainment.
• Lead configuration change control boards (CCBs) and oversee engineering change processes (ECNs/ECOs).
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure accurate documentation and alignment.
• Manage document control systems and maintain proper revision, release, and archival processes.
• Conduct audits, generate status reports, and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Support AS9100 and customer audits as the configuration subject matter expert.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or Business Administration.
• 5–7 years of configuration management experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and related standards.
• Experience with ERP/MRP or PLM systems (SAP, Windchill, Teamcenter, etc.).
• Skilled in reading engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred

• CMII or equivalent certification.
• Experience with DoD or ITAR-controlled programs.
• Familiarity with model-based or digital configuration environments.
