Aviation Logistics Coordinator

The ideal candidate would be a self-starter with drive and work ethics that would set you apart from other candidates. Someone willing to aid and learn all facets of the department and be part of a team. Candidate must have High school diploma or GED equivalent, 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment in stock room and/or warehouse. With knowledge and experience of ERP system, manufacturing/logistics, comfortable and efficient data entry and computer navigation. Forklift experience with over sized items, HAZ MAT and aerospace manufacturing strongly preferred.

General Duties:
- Manage Receiving Hold and Inspection with Purchasing and Customer Service
- Keep the receiving area clean and organized at all time
- Unload / Inspect incoming freight for damage. Routes items to appropriate department for further inspection.
- Report any damages, shortages or overages in shipments.
- Responsible for maintaining records of each incoming shipment, including the type and date.
- Coordinate with Purchasing on purchase orders / Coordinate with Quality and Customer Support
Representatives on Customers LRU's.
- Work with others in the department to ensure department's efficiency.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Works under immediate supervision and typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Kitting duties
- Locates stock and delivers items to their destination upon request.
- Ensures incoming deliveries are accurate and stocks supply room with new goods.
Takes inventory and identifies reorder needs for supervisor approval. Cycle counts inventory in stock.
- Checks order forms, delivery requests, and approval forms to ensure proper documentation, accuracy, and
on time delivery.
- Kits parts from bill of materials and deliver them to other departments with in the warehouse.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
