Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment through thorough washing and sanitizing processes
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning items to support kitchen staff
- Support catering and banquet events by preparing and organizing food items in accordance with safety standards
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations to promote a safe dining environment
- Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to maintain a clean and inviting space for guests
- Assist in general kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely food service and smooth daily operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices is advantageous
