Click on the link below to learn what our employees have to say about Evonik: https://careers.evonik.com/en/about/meet-the-team/ RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the identification of market trends and recognition of unmet and emerging customer needs, new application areas and innovative technologies in the region, accompanied by the development and implementation of targeted strategic measures Responsible for the product launch activities in the region, support and coordinate with the global relevant colleagues to monitor the regional progress Responsible for the new product promotion management, monitor the regional progress with the business status incl. sales activities, commericial result, analyze and identify the de-bottleneck solution Responsible for the overall product portofolio management in the region, support and cooridnate with the global relevent colleagues to define the product strategy, product lifecycle, portoflio development and take action in the region accordingly Responsible for the new application development management, monitor the regional progress with the business status incl. sales activities, commericial result, analyze and identify the de-bottleneck solution Responsible for the investment project, asset setup, third-party partner screen & selection for the technology development and service development in the reigon Act as the link between global and region for the "new" "strategic" topics, translate global initiatives to the regional measures and also provide regional voice to global as part of the team together Act as the link among functions in the region incl. sales, AT, marketing, SCM to monitor the implementation for the new and strategic topics REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline. MBA or equivalent business qualification is a plus. Minimum 8–10 years of working experience in business management, product management, strategic marketing or business development. Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, commercialization, portfolio management and strategic business planning. Basic knowledge in polybutadience, acrylic polymers, PMMA or related specialty resins and polymer technologies. Familiar with the industry of adhesives, tire, automotive or E&E. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across different cultures, countries and business functions. Ability to influence and coordinate diverse stakeholders in a matrix organization. Fluent oral and written English.
