Conduct relevant business development activities, including but not limited to, market sizing, in-market surveys, opportunity identification & development, and development of business plans. Develop and implement sales plan in line with defined top-down targets. Manage direct accounts and distribution channels in the territory; maintenance of forecasts. Develop and maintain working business relationships with customers, distributors, and other industry stakeholders in the territory. Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to define and implement key account plans, market segment and product strategies. Gather and report on relevant market and business information. Coordinate technical support initiatives, such as trainings and seminars for the assigned accounts/territory. Coordinate with colleagues responsible for business operations (order-to-cash, supply chain, finance, etc) for effective business operations. REQUIREMENTS University degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics. Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field preferred but not mandatory. 5 - 10 years of working experience in client facing role such as Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Strategy, Technical Service or related field preferred. Experience in working in the specialty additives industries preferred (e.g. Agrochemicals, construction additives, defoamers, wetting agents, plastic compounding, chemical manufacturing additives, rubber processing, and similar). Fluent in local language and English. Fluency in Chinese, Korean or Japanese languages preferred but not mandatory. Motivated to drive business growth and deliver excellent service to customers Acts independently to develop an understanding of the business environment, and develop solutions to achieve key objectives and strategic targets.
