This position provides support to all critical Innovation functions, including the R&D laboratories and analytical labs. The incumbent may provide support to the pilot plant, applied technology and quality groups. Will plan, execute and record laboratory testing and experimentation requested by Innovation, Manufacturing, Product Safety and/or Customers. Will be accountable for proper operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment and processes.

Responsibilities
- Design and execute minor laboratory projects
- Develop technical/validation reports with minimal oversight
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment and processes
- Plan, conduct and document analytical testing of developmental and finished products
- Recommend purchase of materials and equipment
- Ensure setup and calibration of new and existing equipment
- May perform other duties as required
- B.S. in Chemistry or related field preferred
- Understanding of basic analytical laboratory techniques and principles
- Good laboratory bench skills and documentation practices
- Knowledge of cGLP
- Prior experience with analytical laboratory instrumentation preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively both in person and by electronic means with internal customers
- Proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software and tools
