I’m currently supporting a rapidly growing aerospace company developing next-generation communications technology for space and airborne platforms.

They’re looking for a Principal Quality Systems Engineer to lead enterprise-wide Quality Management System transformation initiatives across engineering, manufacturing, and operations.

This is a high-impact role focused on building scalable, data-driven quality systems aligned to AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards while improving process consistency, documentation architecture, and operational excellence across the business.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Leading QMS transformation and standardization initiatives
• Driving process governance and documentation strategy
• Building scalable quality frameworks across multiple functions
• Managing document control, traceability, and audit readiness
• Improving usability, diagnosability, and serviceability of internal systems
• Partnering closely with engineering, operations, and support teams
• Developing training and continuous improvement programs
  
  

What They’re Looking For

• 12 years within Quality Systems, Systems Engineering, or Process Architecture
• Strong AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 expertise
• Experience with enterprise process governance and configuration management
• Background in documentation architecture and information systems
• Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Experience within aerospace, space, defense, or other highly regulated industries preferred
